Conference was held. It was Lady Gaga that was selected as a performer of 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show. In the conference, she shared her ideas and spirits about Halftime show with journalists. But what makes her so enthusiastic? How big is the influence？ The Halftime Show takes place in the finals between champion team of AFC(American Football Conference) such as New England Patriots and NFC(National Football Conference) such as Los Angeles Rams. This means it represents the United States and people in America. Since Super Bowl is held on Sunday every year, so people from children to adults all watch it. (In other words, american football fans in Japan have to watch it at their offices or schools in secret because of the time difference.) It is said that the reason why the Halftime Show takes place is because people all go to the bathroom during it so the water pipes in America burst. In addition, examples of past performers include Michael Jackson, Prince, U2 and Beyoncé. They overwhelmed people around the world by their amazing performances. Also they expressed important messages during the Halftime Show. For instance, In 2016, Beyoncé showed her will and spirit about rights through the performance with being paid attention from the world. The Halftime Show is not just a performance but something important. As well as Lady Gaga, in 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show, she expressed the equality and the unity of America with the performance and lyrics of her songs. I was speechless when I saw her brave attitude in the Halftime Show. Who will perform in the 2020 Halftime Show is yet to be known. But there is no choice but to watch it!
